Geraint Parry Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 The Welsh North Raod is the largest Fed but once we get to the Channel the Welsh South East Combine has the largest birdage. There is a fed up here that flys with the combine. Just 3 clubs in the North Wales Coast Fed are not in the boundary, which leaves us out of it. Just last week they have a allowed a club in front of us to join, but have made that club draw its boundary so now it excludes us think they must be scared. My opinion on this is - if you don't want the any front ends members joining then fair enough. But to let some members in from the front in and then draw a boundary around some others?? it stinks if you ask me. and people wonder why fanicers call it a day. The North Wales Coast Fed once applied for membership to the cmbine (think about 2 years ago) but we were refused??? Were told '' there is already a fed that comes with us from the north'' yeah that's alright if they will let you fly with them!! When i won the National I should / would have topped the combine! Same when the chip shop boys have won it. Hope this gives a few in the south a bit of insight into what goes on up here!! If i can post a map on here, it will show roughly how they have done the boundary!!! will make you smile
Geraint Parry Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 this will give a rough idea, i'm not a member of the fed so don't know the exact boundary.
les Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 theres perigrines where ever you go :-/not every where ,try finding 1 where i live
les Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 I dont disagree with that but I would prefer that my birds dont get them soon as they come out the transporter about as sensible liberating there as putting a cat in your loft for the night and wondering the next morning why its killed your birds Give them chance of bit of channel training though when they do go after them and the end up heading for France your so right ,but like every fed ,as long as they are let go ,and its where they are told to go ,then it seems it dont matter, that is why they keep going back to these places ,i dont or wont send when i know its a place with a nest site .when will theyever learn .
