To paint or not ?

Should I paint the outside of my loft ? it's an old shed and a lick of paint should spruce it up nicely. Is there any reason it is not advisable to paint it ?

as plastic can simply presure wash clean and no maintence as wont need repainting

mine was white and double insulated it got really hot in there lol brought the widowhood cocks on form really easy lol
