Hi All,

After a bit of a disastrous start to pigeons which was basically down to my own stupidity last year which resulted in me disposing of my stock & my loft sitting empty for 8 months I now have some pigeons again :):)

I have bought 3 pairs of what I consider to be very nice well bred stock birds aimed at the distance which I hope will set me in good stead to breed some decent young birds and hopefully take part in some distance races over the next few years.

The pigeons arrived yesterday and have settled well.

I will not be racing this year but I would like any young birds to get some training in.

To get my pigeons some experience I was wanting to know, do clubs still have a training crate and would that be open to non members or would you most likely have to be a club member and have to take part in the race as it were?
