ive havnt come across this before, in my breeding loft i have 2 pairs of birds in 1 box that has laid 2 eggs in the bowl and 2 in the corner of the box. i left them as they are to see what happens. the 2 cox sits and they dont bother each other and the hens do the same at night.

 

the eggs have hatched the chicks are 4 days old there no sign of the cox fighting. the size of the box is 2ft wide 2ft depth 18inch high. as this happened to you befor.regards john

Never happened to me but if they are happy just leave them mate

I had a young cock paired to 3 young hens all in the same box they were each taking turns to sit the 6 eggs

some time you will find it was the one cock that tread the 2 hens  good  set up to race to

when i read this , remember seeing a film with a similar title ..... was nothing about pigeons tho ??            andy.
