NOEL CRAVEN

It is with great sadness to report the passing of noel .Noel was a life long member of the Sarsfield R.P.C and was a true gentleman of the sport .he held the post of chief clock setter for many years and was held in very high regard in this position racing in recent years noel gave his own birds up and concentrated of helping his son pat and with his fathers help Pat has flown a super pigeon at both club and federation level noel and Pat were more than just father and son as any one who know them could see they were best friends and i know from talking to Noel he was so proud of pat and his achievements in the sport .Noel was no slouch when he raced either especially of the channel even earning him the nick name penzance Craven for his great performances from this race point. noel had a large family and at the funeral they gave him a great send of the hole day had  a lovely warm feeling to it and sitting there later having a pint with some of noels oldest friends they all agreed it would of been his kind of day so to noels wife jossie  and all the family our depested sympathy from every one in the sarsfield r.p.c
