Guest mick bowler Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 Anyone tell me how we go about registering foreign rings (GB etc) to race in Ireland (if we do). I did email the sec of IHU be he said i had to transfer them to me via RPRA. I would of thought you would have to register them with IHU as i'm not a RPRA member.
OLDYELLOW Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 they will be registered to you when you send in the transfer , but i understand where your coming from , as any other union ring has to be registered with the union also helps if go astray and have a foreign ring on perhap a read of there rules may help or someone on site may know

pjc Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 Anybody can register GB birds with the RPRA, if not a member they will give you a registration number. The WHPU require all foreign rings and that include GB rings to be registered with them but that may not apply to the IHU. You can fly WHU, NEHU, SHU, etc in the RPRA without having to register them at the Reddings but Belg etc do have to be registered. Unions have different rules.
