Belgian transfers

can anyone tell me how long it would / or should take for a ring card or letter to arrive after notifying the Belgian union of having a stray .   andy.

It depends on the owner, I asume the union send notification to the owner and they send you a card or arrange for return.

If its been a long time report the bird again to the union telling them you have received no contact and they will send you the card.

anything upto 4 weeks already   did you e amil them or send it off by post  if you e mailed  they usually send  you the owners details

thanks Phil , bird came in on the 8th (from memory) was reported next day , but as yet havent heard , will maybe wait till 1st week in April . anybody else any veiws.  andy.

i phoned Columphile Belge ,she offered me the owners phone number,but couldnt guarantee what language they spoke ,so said a letter would be sent .   andy.
