8 hours still nothing back from 186 miles they could have walked back from there quicker something must have gone wrong and the jump in distance hasn't helped them either

the velocity at the minute is around the 650 ypm mark which is very poor

shoot the controller... ha ha! this was always going to be stiff one, and like jimmy says the jump hasn't helped which must be in the region of 120 miles, something will get through tho!

still showing nothink back looks like a very hard race over the water this is when the scottish lads should be counting there earnings as they got the best distance birds hope the bird come good for you wul.d going to be a hard working bird that takes the prize

got to have had a smash up last years winner done it in 3hr 40 minutes dropping with 3 other birds if im right tenerife is south wind on lib was north so they be flying into the head wind hard race for any bird .

ye the heat would have been the killer today no doubt, and i reckon atlantic ocean has prob had a few by now.

 

only chance would be to get one now up to darkness whilst starting to cool down and tomorrow before the sun rises.
