Has anyone actually attempted to bill the RSPB were proof that one of your birds has been killed

By a hawk.

The reason I say this is, if you are say a cat owner and it kills one of your birds

You are quite entitled to claim for such loss against the owner.

The RSPB have taken out and acted protectors of hawks, therefore are they not responsible

For them in the same sense.

Example; In Bolton the town church drains became blocked due to Peregrines leaving

Pigeons carcases, which in turned caused the water to overflow and cause damage

The RSPB had to remove their nesting box to deter them from further breeding

On the church roof.

I have actually wrote to the RSPB and asked they are they paying for the damage

To the council, up to now the RSPB have not answered.

I am going to write to Bolton council to find out if they are going to ask the RSPB to foot the bill.

Any thoughts.
