young birds

just bought some young birds this is my first year how long do i keep them in before i let them out for the first time  :-/

depends on how old they are, you want them out before they can fly properly. Im trying to get mine out ASAP before theyre too strong on the wing.

dont feed them b4 you let them out

what i do for 1st few times out i let them out around 5-6pm..they dont tend to wander too far as they know they have to roost..this is if you have a few strong in the wing ones.

if they cant fly then they should be let out..the sooner the better..mine are strong at the moment ..ive had a diy wire door on the front ,so they can look out all day.
