does anyone know if these birds will fly 500 plus mls into scotland,only family i keep now.should i just keep them inland,and forget the distance.whats your views on this

they will fly the longer races if prepared correctly, last season i had one fly a very hard race over channel 12 hrs on wing and looked like he could have gone on for another few hrs easily

ps he is one from formula one lofts

two blokes i would speak to is demolition man his mate has some crackers as well as formula 1 lofts both members on here.

Dont know till you try, I know of lad that have been 3rd national with a van reet at 560 mile, so some will do it :)

It would be interesting to find out what the best distance a vandenabeele has won at :-/

Depends what lines you have.The T.C lines which are mostly Blue Chq have for us in SNFC 5th Sect 28th Open Falaise Vel:-756 dist 508 mls and 9th Sect 28th Open Ypres over the last 2 seasons.The other lines are better at Federation Level flying into the Centre Belt. ;) of Scotland.

yer right klaus a gaby cock that topped the wda arras 356 from forrmula 1 lofts   bred  a daughter ton win her club twice and top the fed once top 5 wda twice out of bourges 556miles but not sure wether the cock was paired to something other than a gaby

md evans told my mate who has loads of his pigeons they will fly all day but only one day they aint 2day birds

 

if thatd the case the'll fly 500+ plenty win on the day now ;)

would this be the carrie lines got some nice blue cheqs plus blue w.f as well.various other lines as well.birds came via rothertham via dublin via jack walker via m and d evans.know they are a bit far from the tree but as close as my pocket would allow me to get.peter was top prize winner in his club,rothertham fed when i bought them 3yrs ago as latebreds.first time racing yearlings from them this year
