what age do your young birds be when the parents go back down on eggs . i have a few hens back down on eggs and there young are not even two weeks old yet . will they still take good care of there young or is it best to ditch there eggs any info much obliged

been keeping a look at this, this year in my loft   shortest is 11 days longest 21, not sure i like the quick ones  i think the cock neglects  the y birds in nest  a bit while driving

Cheers fred thinking that myself but is it best to let them sit even on dummy eggs as i dont need any more young
