moving nest bowls

is it possable to mave a nest bowl to a differnt nest box if you lock them in for a bit :)

as got a pair nesting in the y/b section what i want to move to old bird section

Would only do it in desperation but don't think it would work but stand to be corrected mate

very true i have a pair and they wont nest anywhere apart from floor. but i had a pair and i moved there box 2 or 3 times and selttled in grand!

just to let you know it worked fine locked in for a day or so :)

Well done. Some I shift by moving the nest bowl 4" a day till I get them where I want. Others come off when they're moved.  One hen laid her first egg on the loft floor just below her nest box, I shut her in her box to lay the second egg but she didn't sit them. A day later, I put the eggs in the original place, on the floor, and she went straight back down on them! ::)
