North road racer Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Does anybody let there birds out for a fly, then trap them in, basket them and take them training? Read a few reports on this. Any negatives and positives anybody has heard about or does anybody do this themself? All the best.
Wiley Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 I only do this with young birds so they dont go on the run, but after a couple of tosses i stop this
Guest bakes Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 yeah i do it stops them messing about but give them an hr then basket them up and take them stops them flying around above loft when arriving back from training i aint goin gto ly to you when i just use to basket them up before training they be back good time but they be flying round loft for a good minute or so a good local flyer was round my house at the time and said next time you take them let them exercise as sonn as you get them in light feed give them, a little rest then basket them up and take them and i kid you not my birds have came alot better you can put your house on it they will match the miles per minute were ever i take them but all to your own everyone different but i do this way and noticed by birds coming alot better dont mess about sitting on loft roof or landing board they fold up land an run to trap all the best.
