i would let your dad time as many birds to,

your dad might feel they deserved to be timed, and it could help you one day take the first 6 never say never,

but i know it has happened when fanciers never clocked because the seen some others get a bird or 2, only to be told they escaped out the shed or where from last weeks race and by assuming they where nowhere, had they timed they would have won there club and there are fanciers who play tricks with one and other by taking a bird up the road to release at a certain time just for a joke

Well dad come down last night and we got things sorted out so its worked out well. I think he saw Jimmy's car at the loft and was worryinbg I was making good on my threat to give all the winners away and pack in.

I've told him to leave the old birds alone and I'll look after them and he can just get on with the YB's. That way he's not dsown there all the time disttubing the rounabout pigeons.

Some *expletive removed* broke in last night though. Must have been late on cause Jimmy Bambling and I were down the loft at 8.30 having the crack before I went home. Went down 6.00am this morning and the robbing gits have smashed my gate and fence off the hinges to get in and all the locks off the stock cree and cabin.

I can't find nowt missing but need to check my stock birds in case any have escaped but the lad next door has been robbed of all his baskets.

They should cut their hands off if they catch them!
