Guest kevin b Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Some more details of whats on offer. Lot 36 from Paul Stobbs & Son of Consett is a real cracking Blue Pied Hen, Paul Stobbs has spent an hour again this evening in the stock loft finally selecting the youngster for this sale, he has decided upon a belter bred from: GB2005S44397 Bred by Frank Sheader from "Bants Choice" 1st UNC Chenoise, when coupled to a Dark Pied Hen from "Just a Kid" 1st UNC Folkestone x McPharlan. This cock has bred several Federation Winners and a Dtr was 8th WDA from Arras , 2,922 birds. The Dam is another Proven Hen bred by Frank Sheader GB2005S45433, she is a Chequer Pied and is Dam of several good performers (including a nest pair with 2 x 1sts Fed and a 1st & 2nd Fed). She is Direct from "Just a Kid" (1st UNC Folkestone) when paired to a Full Sister of the "Docherty Cock" (1st UNC Folkestone). Just a reminder Paul & family won the WDA six times from the last 9 races flown!! They also were 2nd & 7th NEHU Folkestone Classic against the wind from 36,000+ pigeons and 1st Open NEHU Queens Cup from Clermont from 15,000+ pigeons at 420 miles. Paul has extremely high standards when it comes to pigeons and believe me if this was not perfect she would not have made it from the stock loft to the outside world. Guest kevin b Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 There seems to be a bit of confusion about the format for this auction. All Lots except lot 13 will go under the hammer monday night. No lots will be sold before then, I believe that more birds will be available on the night but you will have to be there. Tell you what I will sleep Monday night. kevin
