Guest spin cycle Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 think you've got to be bit more devious. if they see 'fallen heroes'etc they'll know its anti ( no disrespect ). something like 'spectacular hawk' ....then when they visit they see birds being shredded ( the truth)..go for shock factor. whatever it is it's ,in my opinion, got to appeal to potential hawk lovers...only to be hopefully repulsed when they see our side of things.

Merlin Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Lets get this moving,and to this end we need a plan,what about yourself Dovescott and Rose and another to spearhead this with you three drawing up your plan of action so to speak,without being offensive to anyone,its important to concentrate in task at hand,Funds,and raising of same,with input from all who are interested,get heads together you three,what road we go down,etc,think its important we concentrate on making Joe Public aware of Raptor problems,for many creatures.
DOVEScot Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 Think you are right dovescot get lot more support and interest if it wasnt just for pigeons no lot of the older people down here watched the songbirds in their gardens being taken by the hawks and not happy about it more support we can get the better Any name must be expanded to its maximum to involve as much potential support as possible, Start off big European as we are, Bird as a pigeon is, Protection is all we are looking for, League of many different bodies that want to play the same game as us. I am sure there some of these would get maximum hits on search engines. Euro league would get near enough every football supporter ;D ;D ;D
