it is with the deepest regret , i have to inform you of the sudden demise of a , sparrow hawk cock , that thought he could fly past our french doors when they were open . wot an imprint he left . no more nuki for him

a friend of mine used to keep a canary in his conservatory window but poor sparrowhawks kept hitting the glass and killing them selves , sometimes they were only stunned but before he could rescue them the local farmyard moggie got them  :'( :'( :'( :'(

great just deserts had youngster come back of training today been hawked had to dispose of him

Might be worth all pigeon fanciers having a wire sided greenhouse and keeping a few small bantie hens in it  ;)

bantams are too big to attract them bob , i know they could not leave my mate's canary alone though  ;)

Not little Dutch or Sablepoot banties mate, they weigh no more than a pigeon. I keep them  ;) ;) But canaries kept in a similar fashion would do the trick as well

just a thought could you not put  white tape crosses in each pain of glass so they see it in future  :) :) :)
i have some about someware , must put it on ASAP

                        i have for sale some excelent canaries , they just love to sit in a conservatory and sing all day long in their cage  ;D ;D ;D ;D

The odd latebred prefers to sit under a glass fish tank sunning themselves on the loft roof for protection!

Remember to provide latebred with adequate ventilation as they get carried away with the sunbathing and don't want them to get burnt.

Suprising how usefull old tanks are leaks or not.
