Guest spin cycle Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 what are peoples thoughts on loft temperature. i've got my lofts rigged for august during this warm spell ( as much air as possible). also we are basketing thurs. for our race sat. and friday could be hot for their journey...are there any tips for preparing the birds for a warm journey? or am i worrying to much. it's 2 years since i started racing and this the first time my birds have been in the basket for longer than one night.

Bit of a chuckle here ;D ;D ;D "To hot" I don't think that would ever be a problem in your back yard, for what I have to put up with at times. All bullshit aside ;) now. You spend your time getting the humidity right in your loft, & you will be well on the road to winning etc. Enjoy.

Guest spin cycle Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 what you've got to understand lennut is we are not used to the heat.....3 days at 20 degrees is 'summer' and 4 days is 'heatwave' . also 2 days without rain and theres a hosepipe ban(dizzy)

Sounds as if ?????? :P all that riff raff "PMSL" & those undesirables etc, that you sent down here years ago !!!!!!!!!!. Were the lucky ones.
