Guest karl adams Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 my young birds are as fond as hell some have built nests and lay ed eggs which i have thrown out the cocks are spinning when they land on the loft and chasing hens should i leave the cocks n hens together or part them
Guest speckled Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Karl my personal opion would be to separate the cocks hens it seems to early to have them buzzing like tha are as y/b racing is not for weeks yet training should calm them down it nice to have them like that but it will over motivate the y/bs if thay start building nest having eggs so early just my thought Speck
Guest karl adams Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 the last 2 weeks they have stopped roaming and don't fly as long so if i part them would it get them back flying or would it make them worse or would i start to have more birds lost
Guest speckled Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 thay will fly better if thay are split, thay soom learn, thay prob once split cocks look for the hens & visa versa but thay will soon switch on. Shouldnt make any diff to the loss of the birds Speck
Guest speckled Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 agree chris thay seem to need training just to take there mind of pairing ect be better to get them on a few short toss, wont hurt them Speck take there mind of roaring around the loft
