Guest Vic Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Last Wednsday I sent all my ybs to the first Wed. Fed. race. Thirty sparkling ybs, in superb condition. They were liberated 30 mins earlier than norm. I immedeately had doubts! It turned out a stinker I dropped 20 and I am still 18 down. The sky has been overcast with plenty of rain since Wednesday. Any body watching the golf from Birkdale about 15 mile away will know what I mean. The guy who won the race had similar returns as myself. What a bloody season! Bluer than Blue. Vic.

Sorry to hear about your young bird losses Vic, I hope they rake in for you. Its been possibly the worst year that I can remember for losing birds, some of my mates aren't flying the last old bird race this week as they have nothing left. A few of them have been taking a pummelling with the youngsters training aswell!! Personally I have started to think that maybe there could be something in the "mobile phone antenna" affecting our birds navigation theory! Doubt whether it can be scientfically proven but, who knows??? And Bluer than Blue, I always thought you were a died in the wool Red Vic!!
