Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 i have a pair of young in the nest perfectly healty im just curious to opions as to what this means if anything. One of the young has like a pinkish beak and feet and the other has a very dark beak and feet which i havent seen before does this mean anything.
Guest peter.j Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 yes mate it means one has dark beak/feet and the other hasnt ;D
pjc Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 depending on how old they are the dark beak/feet is likely to be a dark colour and the pale beak/feet could be a pale colour, gay pied etc. What colour are the parents?
mark croker Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 are they pieds if not it may have pied somewhere down the line thats some times a sign of it or it could just be a throw back, thats my guess anyway
