blackdog Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 could members please keep a lookout for youngbirds with the letter D10701-to i7000 as the derwent valley fed have had a disaster race out of garstang near blackpool 64 mls today, liberated at 1-20 in a west north west wind, hundreds of birds missing, looks like the wind may have pushed them up the wrong valley, this couldnt have come at a worse time with members already suffering because of the old bird races, leaving a lot of people finished, this being only the second race, thank you.
pjc Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 Wife came back from Coventry this afternoon and said she has seen small batches of birds going in all directions all day!
blackdog Posted July 18, 2009 Author Report Posted July 18, 2009 think a lot could end up over in the north east.
