why race your birds from this area you get the same year after year yet your fed goes back time after time

hope you get more back

We are fortunate we have some others in the loft that didn't go to this race. Ayrshire's first four races are Lockerbie, Longtown, Lockerbie and Longtown.  So we split them into two teams. For all that we would still like to have them back home.

Sent 11 to Kettering with Stocksbridge Fed - 73 miles - Got 4 on Saturday, 2 Sunday - 5 Missing.

Sent 12 to Windrush with Central Derbyshire Fed - 108 Miles - Got 5 on saturday, 1 Sunday - 6 Missing.

So out of 23 sent got 12 back - 11 missing

Shocker - these birds had been well trained and out of the ones missing, there were some crackers - oh well, try again next week.

well after looking at these write ups its weird as i did not train my youngsters much at all ..... plus when they trained from 45 miles say it took them 1 hour 20 mins ... 30 mile took them 1 hour .... they only had around altogether 6 tosses ..... then straight into 79 miler race and then same point for another 79 miler for second race .... mikey
