Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 have you got an old bird team for next year
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 if you wanted the young cocks for racing next year id leave them where they are . as some times putting them with an old hen and box will wind them up to much and you will lose them . just my thoughts any way
Guest pigeon82 Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 ive paired 2 sets of young birds together the 2 males are not racing but the hens are im doing opposite to most this weeks race i sent 8 i had my eye on a blue pd which i mated to a pharoah cock she was actually my first bird back and she flew to my yb section had some food and water then i opened the door and she flew straight to her nest box where she resides now i only put them in a nest box on the thursday took her away thursday night then give her 5 minutes before she went in the basket at the minute she is my top yb in the loft she has been in the fed twice and been in the top 3 in the club 4 times she also had 2 section positions as for the other hen she is flying back to a young portugese cock she was my 5th bird back and she did not eat or drink till that evening all she wanted was the cock so i think you should try it mate it worked for me
