Guest Davy Fleming Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 It will go to most if not all birds in the section. I personally use Nystatin from the vet but women will get it on prescription and a lot cheaper
Guest Owen Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 I feed most animals and birds in much the same way. Especially dogs and pigeons. It works like this. Feed down-five minutes- pick up food or dish. You much never, never leave food down. It will get dirty and instead of the animals/birds understanding that they have to earn their dinner they will take you for granted. I bet if you are a parent, that will ring a bell. With young pigeons, you are best removing the water while the food is down. This will prevent them filling up on water before they finish eating. Ding, Ding.
Guest pied 09 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 checked crops of the offenders yesterday morning, and they were empty. afternoon i let them out after checking thier crops again , which were empty and they did 10-15 mins and back in loft hungrily. they looked like they were picking about but i couldnt say if it was moss or what ever it was. still keep a close eye out for any signs of them going down. i may be right in thinking that the older birds are leading 1-2 astray as i should have had those out earlier. thanks again
