i have had 4 "perretts" given to me by a fancier,he has told me that they are a really old strain of pigeon and that i wont be disappointed with them.can anyone tell me anything about the strain and where they originated from.thanks paul.

hello chris, im going to start building another one next week for the yb,s as it is to be attached to the one i have now,i will post when both are completed.their nothing spectacular but im proud of them and the six birds that i now have,seem really settled and happy in there.watch this space.paul

yes your right i did buy one, when we erected it ,it seemed very weak and shabby, so we made a lot of alterations to it.now we have decided to add even more and build another shed ourselves at a right angle to the other one,we will end up with a big L shape set up.should be awesome when its finished.one leads to another as they say.

hi paul, them birds you had from me aint posh so dont get spoiling them now ....lol lol

i didnt know you was building a loft, i had a good few 3x3 3ft posts here you could have had m8.

they would be ok for building a floor in the loft.

no wonder they were on a farm you need a digger to clean that lot out :P

hi paul they wasnt comparets pigeons and not perretts, were they?,as i knew a flyer who had an old strain of pigeons.

did you know a fancier called tom perrett,thats were they have originated from.

they have settled in really well,but they are having trouble chewing the steak i,ve been giving them :)

well they only got top side here so be careful lol

 

 

i think the perretts are not the ones i was thinking of paul.
