chichichi Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 we had a bird in the pouring rain at 3.04.. how did this hen come through the rain,, her whattles were blood red,, unbeliveable what they come through.. maxwell your was a galant 3rd home today,, yours was a laterbred bird and to come today was very good.. returns are a little mixed.. in our club - 9 from 20.... 0 from 5.. 7 from 9... 2 from 10... 4 from 10.. 3 from 10... I expect a few more will come through tonight when the rain stopps.. but should they have been liberated.. goodluck all ant
taffacre Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 ant they knew the weather was coming in from the west,personally i dont think they took that into consideration,i am in Lantrisant started raining just after the first birds came into our area ,you had NO chance down west. hope they turn up for you west boys. first birds around here were akers 11.14 a ware 11.14 steve bright 11.11.started raining at about 11.25.and hasnt stopped since and visibility is poor.

I think the west and far west had the short straw today,, the cock up was made early in the week,, we should have gone on friday for a race on sat.a fed from north wales went for a race on sat and had a cracking race... the futher west you go the slower the birds get.. glynneath 1244ypm... ystalyfera 1221ypm.. swansea 1210ypm.. and so on.. not looking good for next weekend,, lets hope for a nice september.. birds getting webbed feet.. hope you all get them ant
