Guest bigda Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 are you saying only 17 birds made it and 5 where the owners, did they get special treatment or what
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 24 0f the europa pigeons where entered with over 200 birds into the WELSH GRAND NATIONAL . The Europa entries contibuted to 10% of the entries. 14 birds made it home in the "WELSH GRAND NATIONAL " and 7 of these where from the Europa one loft! Its not difficult to understand BIGDA. but then again making things sound corrupt is more fun for the ill informed and ignorant eh?

Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Thanks Whitenight. 13 home from 24 now by 1.30pm today. There was marking stations that only had 1 or 2 home. many top flyers still waiting for their 1st arrival. tremendous acheivement with yearlings and 2 yr olds that had not flown in 2008.
Guest strapper Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 i wonder if these birds..non whpu rung birds registered to race under whpu rules.it would be a shame, to find out if they wasnt ??).....well done to the winner though..bet he was smiling today.

Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 All loopholes paul where covered in the weeks leading up to the nationals. all birds where transfered and registered to DEREK and are 100% eligible to win the national. The 1st and 3rd birds where WHU birds by the way.
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 no not at all mate, would be very surprised thats all, at the percentage with 10% representing, and agenst 2,000 birds thats the minimum percentage 142% is a very high strike rate as you know the percentage from there is great flying ;D ??????????????/ he sent 10% of the entrants and had 50% of the day returns thats 5 times the average and is 1st and 3rd nation beating the guy thay had won the last 2 nationals. incidently the bird that was 2nd national was the winner from crieff!
Guest strapper Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 tenny m8 who were the winners?..i know its under dereks name but who,s bird was it?
Guest bigda Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 nope, its represents 14 and 1/2 times the average from the race
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 ha ahaha hah ah a, not very good at maths are you.... Do me aa favour and except my figures as accurate. I Have a national mathemtics diploma and A'Level maths
Guest numpty01 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 i was told it is o level maths but she does boast a bit :P :P
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 The 1st bird was bred by a local retired man in Cardiff. The 2nd bird was bred by Bob Fenech and he decided not to pay the entry fee as it was a so called sprinter and Bob thought it would be to long for him. Paul Smith(Regency lofts) activated the bird .
Guest bigda Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 well use it then, as you have a strike rate wich is a differant thing for percentages, all comeing to your lofts agenst 2,000 birds
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 i was told it is o level maths but she does boast a bit :P :P Chris I sat o'level maths 2 years early at 14yrs of age and had a "A" Grade I then went on to get my A'Level at 17
Tenny Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 well use it then, as you have a strike rate wich is a differant thing for percentages, all comeing to your lofts agenst 2,000 birds differant - different comeing - coming agenst - against and it was 220+ birds not 2,000. he had about 10% of the entry- he had 50% of the birds that homed on the day. statistically if 14 made it home from 220 then on average that is 1.5 birds home per 24. in other words for every 24 birds that entered 1.5 made it home on the day. however derek had 7 day birds thats nearly 5 times the average. I hope this is made simple enough for BIGDA to understand if not log onto www.mathsforkids.com.
Guest bigda Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 220 for a national race, i took it at 2,000 birds so there aint nothing wrong with my maths
Guest numpty01 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 anyone know if seabourne lewis son in the results
Guest bigda Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 i thought all the 500 birds had to go to the national, is that not what you said at the start of your campaign
Guest redwhiteblue Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 well done derek and staff at europa one loft race i was there to see the winner clocked in today . finished like a steam train from 500mile winning the welsh national well done again m8 plus he got 5 more why i was there i think there was only 17 birds clocked in total proper flying that shame none was mine lol 8) 8) with all due respect the welsh and their grand national race surely derek cannot take credit for this as it should be the breeder who takes the credit as he is only the manager of the one loft race the pigeon should not have been transferred onto dereks name but transferred onto europa classic after all it was him and his staff who made the big cock up last year at there yb race or else there could have been alot more birds at this race
