wow lads seems to me there is something  wrong with that race point...is this always the problem from here or just this year ??? mikey (dublin , ireland )

not the racepoint mate, every race is the same its the route they travel and all the other feds they are crossing week in week out, plus all the airports that they travel through.

direct south is the best route jason ,they had cracking race 2day from chale.

I will be there next year mate . I just dont understand this fed anymore, the rv fed had a good race lib at 10am epsom, the south had a good race lib 10.30 we again liberate early and this shambles happens, its week in week out, My birds came back in a state too, someone should have there asses kicked for this crap.

Thing is this fed dont give a sh** as long as we are paying our £7 a week thats all they care about. they dont give a sh** about the birds, it money money money.

I feel sorry for the people who dont have that many left and are either wiped out or close to it, again they will still be expected to pay for the rest of the season.

assholes the lot of them.

I must say i did see the WSR returning and these were totally de-hydrated as well strays droping in just to drink out of puddles something just does not seem right  or IS THIS THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT if so it must be DOOMED this is not defending our fed just what i have witnessed.

There was more clubs last season that wanted to change routes, we were told differently by the fed but when you talk to individual clubs the story is different. I tried and tried to get across to people this route has no future but it just falls on deaf ears. I will be looking out for myself next year and it wont be on the east to west route. I would go back north tomorrow it it had the members that it used to, so south is the route for me next year.

How many birds has brom had, ive had 9 out of 22 so far.

Have a Welsh stray fresh rubber come back this morning with my trainers 09 N 13351 any know where he,s from.07817 code or is that a mobile.

would be interesting to see if this bird that has been reported here was in todays race at epsom, it so they have ended up in worcester. They certainly came from  the north the birds i saw. The birds i saw coming didnt have a clue where they were either, they were all over the place, could have been caused by dehydration who knows.

I think it is about time we had a long hard look at the WNF and the way it is run. How often are we going to put up with this rubbish. To me young bird racing should be a pleasant way to sort out what birds a Fancier would like to keep for Old Birds.

What we are getting is a cross between a Lottery and an Endurance Test.

Surely, there has to be a way of knowing for sure when and where other Feds are liberating. Why don't the Convoyers carry laptops with them?

I think it is time we decided to call a proper meeting and decided for ourselves what sort of standards we want. And, for me, the Convoyers have not earned their pay so they should not get any. If we have to pay 7:00 per week we must have some redress because right now I don't think they give a sh&t.

Only the other day we were argueing about our Sport and how we might improve it in relation to BOP and the Public image. OK so why don't we really show em? We will demonstrate that our birds mean nothing to us. We can do this by abusing them on the transporters and making it impossible for most of them to get home. And, better still, we can refuse to send for the few that will get reported by members of the Public. To make double sure that we have really got the Public fed up with us, we can be as rude as possible on the phone so that we can reinforce the Jack Duckworth image properly.

Come on folks, we are well on the way so why stop now?

Your right there the RVF  have not had a good race by a long way, on saying that the North road let go yesterday at 6.30 from i think beeston and that was worse than any of the libs today.

what excuses will they have for us? Because it will not be be their fault, will it?

Here's a few for them to pick from.

Feds below us did'nt tell us when they released.

There was a lot of untrained and inexperienced birds in the convoy.

There were a lot of birds with young bird sickness.

Falcons attacked the birds straight after we let them go.

Our birds are not good enough.

The weather changed without warning.

Can you think of any more to help them to choose the right one for this week?

i dont think any of us had great races, myself i had 6/28(rhondda valley) in about 20 mins then like drops of blood after but still working through(23/28 at 4.00pm).Havent heard much off the others but returns are patchy and i have spent the afternoon wondering what went wrong on my part before asking questions of the race controllers, young birds are always hit and miss and from my early returns it was evident that what i thought were the better pigeons were missing ( if i had picked 1/2 to send then i would have been none home 1 hour after the first birds home)

As for going south i think Chale is south east so we were all in effect flying in from the same direction

Suprised if Tenny will be about for a while with Liverpool playing but i was with him for his first 2,the first finished well

Today has been a very strange day,, we liberated 15 mins after the rhondda valley and we have had a good race,, 27 from 29.. also chale has been a good race,, so all I can think of is clashing,,

I think the time is coming when all the welsh go together,, at least all the birds will then come into wales and if you lose any they won't be too far away..

I hope you get them back..

best of luck

Sat in the garden waiting for the bids today was a bit of an experience.  I havent seen that many birds fly over the loft in many years.  Had a few pigeons come out of batches of over 50 and they time these birds were turning up and the size and quantity of the batches going through suggested to me that i was seeing all the welsh birds from the RVF the SWG and our own birds all together suggesting to me that a lot of the WNR birds did not clear at epsom and these have eventually mingled with birds from the RVF and SWG which also probably have not cleared there racepoints.  I have now had 19/24.  but i know there are a few worse of than me

South East route is a totally different from East to West the birds have a far less chance of cutting across Feds, i think people mix the two up  and they are poles apart. The BICC route over the channel is a perfect compromise for the East to West & South Feds to race from not to mention the opportunity to compete against all Welsh Feds liberating together.
