Guest CS Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 a lot of people use them in the north east Yes - Garden Fantails .
Blue Chequer Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Nearly all lofts in the N.E. of England use Fantails as droppers. Just hold them and let them flap their wings when they see birds approaching the loft, let them go towards the open door to encourage the arriving bird to follow it in.
Derek Davies Posted December 5, 2022 Report Posted December 5, 2022 A dropper is a usually a white fantail pigeon used to attract Tipplers( High flying pigeons in kits of at least three birds ) back to the loft
