i dont use droppers since i seen my mates let a fantail out it sat on the roof all day

so his racers came home and sat there with it before trapping lol

Nearly all lofts in the N.E. of England use Fantails as droppers.    Just hold them and let them flap their wings when they see birds approaching the loft, let them go towards the open door to encourage the arriving bird to follow it in.

A dropper is a usually a white fantail pigeon used to attract Tipplers( High flying pigeons in kits of at least three birds ) back to the loft
