Guest MBpigeonguy Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 My white Logans. Yearlings waiting to be paired up!! those are the most beutyfull birds iv ever seen, i was in a bad mood till i saw those birds. i ownly have grizzles, i was told not to get plain white ones hawks get them, tell me more about your birds at z_hofer@hotmail.com
Peckedhen Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Well, thank you, I'm flattered! I'm not sure the experienced fanciers would agree with you but I love them. I'm relatively new to pigeons and these were the first ones I bred, I'm not racing them yet. I've not had any problem with hawks until the last month when I've lost a few.
Guest MBpigeonguy Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 well i think they are beutyfull i dont care what anyone thinks, i have 4 grizzles that are great fliers, i had 2 plain white ones i got from a guy that used them for weddings, someone told me becouse they are not for racing i will bring in bad blood for my racers, i had a hard time making up my mind about getting rid of them but in the end i did, i gave them back to were i got them from becouse they were a gift. but urs look much better. if mine looked half as good i whould have never give them back. do u fly already this erly in the year, i can only dream about flying with all the snow around here.. zech

Guest Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Here is a picture of my good white hen, who this year will be flying for a certificate of merit in the London and Southeast Classic Club for 3 times in the first 50 of the Open result from their longest old bird race. This is the hen we spoke about Jimmy, when I sent her this year to Bergerac with only six flights left and stupidly pooled another pigeon even though she has never let me down before. This pigeon has never been less than 2nd bird back to my loft when I send her and has won the following. 1st Club Lulworth, 1st Club Exmouth, 2nd Club Nantes, 2nd Club Westbay, 3rd Club Messac, 278th Open BICC Falaise, 204th Open BICC Falaise, 168th Open BICC La Ferte Bernard, 10th SW Sec, 19th Open LSECC San Sebastian 548miles, 26th SW Sec, 33rd Open LSECC Bergerac 438miles. plus other prizes. Ben this is same way bred as the two I am sending you.
Guest MBpigeonguy Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 here is a picture of two of my white hens, the one is mostly grizzle and the others, parents were her mom was grizzle and her dad was white, these birds always finished top 10%

Peckedhen Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 They all look very nice to me!! How can you tell a pigeon is in good condition just from a photo? :-/ I know that their feathers should be tight and not puffed up but, that's the extent of my knowledge!! :B
