a very basic widower hood system [actualy the correct name :)] is seperating the cocks[not letting them see the hens] exercising 1 hour early morning 1 hour 5 to 6 approx, pefect peace and quiet all day during the" resting period "the hen is shown to the cock in their nest box and the cock sees his hen on return,,,,then separated again till next race,, feeding for short middle distance ,,,,,return on sat ,,depurative pre soaked with lemon juice and beer yeast and dried , this usually fed untill tuesday then widowhood mix fed [widowhood cocks should never be hungry] vits can be put in the water wednesday and a pigeon tea can be given sunday [day after race] this is only the very basics ,, but best read many differant books , see videos etc and keep asking :)  [a few training tosses b4 racing , to get them started , then if in good condition and your succeeding in the system , the cocks should fly for allmost an hour ,,,,,best of luck  :) :) :)
