timbarra Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 a vet would have strapped the wing for you and then billed you for £200 then £30 amtrk . then you would have complained even more, as for asking someone to destroy one of your birds you cant be bothered to have sent back due to it costing £30 well your birds must really be worth something. not even £30 each.. stop whinging and if you dont want to pay then dont bred rubbish. >

I've had a vet strap a broken wing, its a five-minute job and the fee was under £15 including an antibiotic. The major complaint here is this bird was in no fit state to travel - yet was bundled into a box for an overnight road journey home - via how many depots? and transhipped how many times? Suffering for the sake of a few minutes work and a few pounds? Who is the real miser in this story? Who really betrayed the faith?
