cheyne Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 hey all my name is cheyne and i just joined the group. i was wondering if anyone could help me with the idea of widowhood. i want to try it but i live in australia and we race in winter which is after the breeding season. also bear in mind that in their first year our birds will fly 700 miles cheyne
Wiley Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 Hi Cheyne when i visited australia alot of the fanciers prefered and had alot more success racing celibacy?
jimmy white Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 sorry your not getting much feed back cheyne, but being in a differant hemisphere than us , i would think conditioning birds would be very differant ,,for instance theres no way we could get them to do 700 miles as yb,s in fact the way things are going were lucky to get 7 ;D,no but seriously ,i dont see why not race the w,hood system , theres plenty advice on the forum if you look back the pages , theres many books, videos, cd,s etc available , but wish you luck anyway, and happy racing
