Guest CS Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 How many rounds of youngsters do/would you pull of a breeding pair per year? Ifthey have a single baby at some stage, would that influence your decission about taking 1 more round?
EAGLEOWL Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 i only take two rounds off my pigeons unless there been given to club mates or friends .but then i only keep twenty young birds ,i suppose it will depend how many pairs of stock birds you keep or how many young birds you want .
madmaxlofts Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 1 young off my widdowhoods preferably the cock nip small 1 asap and 2 rounds off my stock
Ronnie Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 i found out last year that the first round of youngbirds was a lot better than the second overall.I will only be taking one round this year due to having no more stock birds
