dont put ur race birds on the light only stock birds as it will put ur race team into a form and could affect how your performance before the season has even started

OK thanks for the replies. I put my breeders on 17 hours a day on Christmas day. No eggs yet. Soon i hope.

 

i think,,soon you will :) :) :)  sometimes at this time of the year the hens are sometimes a bit plumpish ,and just take that wee bit longer,,good luck [hope you see eggs tomorrow :)]

all 9 pair of stock birds laid out 9 days here  :) i put this down to the feeding and condition of the birds over the moulting period. Ill take a guess and say your birds are overweight if your weighting 17 days to lay
