what are peoples thoughts on feeding youngbirds before and while racing i was thinking of useing depurative on an morning and just peas on an evening adding just an little mazie once racing

i just feed mine bean's,maple pea's+tare's /which is bjf's No1 mix but i think it buckton's call it high speed, they also get a bit of conditioning seed on trapping

i think to win with yb,s feed lightly,, but maybe not the best idea to make great ob,s [ in my opinion yb,s are still growing and need proper nourishment if they areto make good ob,s] theres only a few yb races , but a lot more ob races

i use a mix called super winner by marimans for my ybs its a light mix but real top corn all i do is add fatty foods to this and find this works i started with 28 ybs 2007 season and finished up with 24 ybs after racing them feeding them on this and won 17 prizes with them
