I have a friend who races doos nearby.  He reckons that he can tell exactly which bird it is coming home just by looking at in the sky.  Hard for me as mine are all white, but then his are all grey?!  So is he winding me up or can you recognise your doos?

when the birds are flying watch them, you will start to notice that different birds do things slightly differently, some land or approach the loft ina different way etc, when you start to spot this you can pick out which bird is which even if they are the same colour.
