I FEED 1oz PER BIRD ON TEURLINGS YOUNG BIRD MIX NO MAIZE ONCE THEY ARE FLYING THAT WAY I HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER THEM

That is per bird, we race 65-70 youngbirds all on the darkness system.

i would feed lightly after morning exercise then after evening exercise feed high protein diet [a full feed ,leaving no grub lying],,,,,,,,,these yb,s are growing all the time ,so i wouldn't stint them with the feed ,,,,,,,,,if their worked hard theil soon build up muscle , and if they do make a mistake , they will at least have some reserves to call on , you can win yb races keeping the yb,s hungry, but these birds will never develop well and maybe not last the pace as old birds , so i have to say ive won races with yb,s feeding well, and working well
