The second one is a black tiger grizzle The tiger grizzle gene is an allele of the grizzle gene. i.e it is located at the same point on the chromozone. Usually these birds are nearly black in their nest feather but then moult out a lot lighter.They would be best paired to a self black.

topmantilley Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 dark chequer to a yellow grizzle hen = would get same colour with a red grizzle hen but also can breed darks or reds as well bronze grizzle.
