The second one is a black tiger grizzle

 

The tiger grizzle gene is an allele of the grizzle gene. i.e it is located at the same point on the chromozone.

Usually these birds are nearly black in their nest feather but then moult out a lot lighter.They would be best paired to a self black.

dark chequer to a yellow grizzle hen = would get same colour with a red grizzle hen but also can breed darks or reds as well

The 2 youngsters are his and his nestmate is the griz pied hen on the nest bowl, a pair of Jos Thones from Blythy1 last year.
