Guest gladdo Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 just thinking off others thats all .... i can never send over 50 and dont planning on so it makes no difference to me bud...mikey
Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 WAT others ....SO YOU CAN NEVER SEND OVER 50 ...so YOU want no other fancier to. That is SO SAD .so you would vote yes to STOP them that have 50+ birds just because you will NEVER send 50.SAD,SAD
Guest gladdo Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 no what i was saying is i dont have to send more than 50 to compete.........its just too many.....if they send 50 1 week they can send a different 50 the next.....and complete diff 50 and so on all thy like... mikey
Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 NO YOU are missing the point ,there are lads out there that race 50,60or more everyweek thats wat they like and want to do every week SO WHY SHOULD YOU that it dose NOT BOTHER vote YES for?
Guest gladdo Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 there is also people that like to send 20 or LESS and dont get a look in so it would be great if people could not send 100 to their 20 or LESS and they would realistically have a chance of getting a card thats why .... im not bothered because i can compete and beat them no matter how many they send ...however if they sended 50 and i send 50 it makes and swings things more in the level par ...mmmmm see how the vote goes but im still 50 max allowed ... no more 120 youngbirds to a race please .... mikey ... please do away with the mob flying ,,,, mikey
Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 IF you can compete and beat them with less birds WAT the f*** are you voting yes for. BUT then liveing in cabra on the GLODEN MILE if you cant get a win there you would look for a limit or jack it in.
Guest bigda Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 most clubs have the power to control the amount of birds to send i know if it was our club and our club where suffering by it, we would impose the rule no problem, if it was going to cause the club to split, clubs are only member strong, have seen clubs have rules send as many as you like, but only yer first named 20 doos count in the club, but the rest count in the fed
Guest gladdo Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 i dont live on the golden mile or anywhere in cabra and i can still get a win ....tough club but getting easier if the limit comes in id say !!!!!!! mikey ...get facts first and dont be guessing ....your right they do live on the golden mile and its all in their favour but hopefully not for long !!!!! mikey
Guest anto Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 IF you can compete and beat them with less birds WAT the f*** are you voting yes for. BUT then liveing in cabra on the GLODEN MILE if you cant get a win there you would look for a limit or jack it in. YOUVE HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD DUB THE GOLDEN MILE THEY SEND THE BIG NUMBERS WHY THEY GET THE FIRST DROP THEY TAKE HALF THE TRANSPORTER ON MARKING NIGHTS ;D ;D ;D
Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 yes m8 fully agree clubs should have and have the power over there own menbers, and if a club in suffering because of a limit then the club can lift it and so on.BUT when it become a fed rule it can not be lifted till the next AGM and by that time it is to LEAT
Guest gladdo Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 unfortunetly there is a golden mile...our club does very well ... i dont live in cabra may i state ... me and my mate john aimar are the nearest fliers from race points... ive got to admit our club up there in fed most weeks ... why not when they are sending this amount of birds why wouldnt you ...better birds will be up there for sure however ive got to admit that sarsfield in the strongest , hardest club out of them all and there is some top fliers in it ..... im in for the bird limit and nobody will ever chamge my mind.... thanks mikey
Guest anto Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 yes m8 fully agree clubs should have and have the power over there own menbers, and if a club in suffering because of a limit then the club can lift it and so on.BUT when it become a fed rule it can not be lifted till the next AGM and by that time it is to LEAT YOUR RIGHT MATE WE ALL HAVE A SAY AT THE FED MEETING
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 i myself couldnt give a dam how many people send i know i can train and prepare six pigeons a week to go to race better than some one sending 40 . but if i had the time i would send 40 lol as its not about winning its about enjoyment as when i was in partnership with my mate i wanted to cut down the numbers but his enjoyment on sat was to watch every bird come home and not just winning our saturday was spent all day chatting outside watching the birds come home and some weeks we would have four races on two inland and two channel and we was able to do this because we had a big team . i dont understand some view why people worry what others send prohaps if they worried about there own team they might win !!! food for thought
Guest gladdo Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 yeah well he might be referring to you 2 there as i won this year !!!!! mikey
Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 i dont live on the golden mile or anywhere in cabra so all the posts you have posted saying you were in CABRA is not true so.BUT you are right a limit will make the fed EASIER FOR the likes of you, thats if there is a fed left.

Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 can i ask how long you have been raceing birds, and have you never seeing wat a limit can do to a club never mined a fed it can and it will F*** IT UP.
Guest gladdo Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 ive only been racing 2 years in total .... im not bothered if there is a limit or not as i said but if i was too vote ill vote 50 bird limit.... i dont need to explain this to anyone why i am ... everybody entitled to do as they like... as you said if it fu$ks everything up it wont come in will it mate...im not arguing with you ...listen what do i care i raced 9 cocks in my first year and took a good few cards ... makes no difference i aint worried what people put in the baskets...all i care is my own is well and ok and ive nothing to worry about... john o callaghan out of our club got best youngster in the fed this year i was told...congradulations if you did john ...you flew a great bird this year mate and you totally deserved it mate... mikey..not 100 % about this but only saying what i heard ....
