magic Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Can anyone please tell me the correct strength of the PROVIRON fertility tablets they used on their pigeons
Guest shadow Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 never needed fertility tablets all the years I kept them
Guest Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Hi Magic, never heard of them, why do you need them, is it for very old birds? If your younger stock is failing to lay it may be you have other problems that affect the fertility?
magic Posted June 12, 2008 Author Report Posted June 12, 2008 On this site back in January (01/01/2008) there were several replies to similar question. These are for use in older stock.
Simeon Turner Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 We have used them with success with our older stock cocks, 2 of which hadn't filled for a couple of years previously. We got ours from Retford Poultry Not sure of the strength of them, but I am assuming they are all the same, the dosage is 1/4 tablet per day from pairing up, until the 2nd egg has been laid. Hope this helps you magic.
magic Posted June 12, 2008 Author Report Posted June 12, 2008 Many thanks for the information. I have been in touch with Retford Poultry but they are asking to examine a bird first. Did you have this problem? My Vet will give me a prescription but he is the one asking the question on strength. I will contact Retford again.
