if truth is known there are a lot more lofts with this trouble then is being told.

respiratory infections are rife in germany, ive read somewhere.

there are different levels of resp and different variations.

when diagnosing resp trouble make sure that its not canker as there are similarities with some symptoms

if you need it   the vets  they will sell it to you,   so you give it to the birds before they go to the race  in case they  get respiratory, what about some thing for cocci, canker, pox, ecoli,      while your there

next you will want a muzzle on your birds, or a private basket, do you know this,  if your bird  had respiratory,  the tylan is no  instant  cure for it,  as it takes 3-4 weeks of a course to  rid it,  and by that time, racing is finished for yea

the vets are ok to a limit as they are bound by british laws to sell weakened medication.

i would take my birds to a vet for examination only ,i get my treatments elsewhere.

the vet will tell you straight ..that his hands are tied concerning treatments.

there are problems with over dosing and under dosing....both just as bad as one another in the long term.

yep the average Joe fancier, falls in to that category then,  dont know the  doses deals in spoon fulls,  like the old way  of  making tea, one for you and one for the pot :-/ ;)

sorry john if i have up set you there  mate,  but under the counter you go back to, if that's the way you have to go, but tylan was not meant for pigeons it was  to prevent pigs from scourring,  but most  local town  vets dont treat  pigs,  and as you say you have used before i wouldn"t  be bragging about it on here, as  the fanciers might want to see you havent after all got respiratory, in your loft :-/
