pigeonman007 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 Hi all Just vaccinated my first yb but noticed on taking the needle out some of the vaccination fluid seeped out of the needle insertion point on the pigeon, is this normal or have I messed it up? Also any tips on how to hold/vaccinate much appreciated Cheers Craig
Guest Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 you messed it up! i get someone to hold the bird and i jag
paul10121968 Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 it is a 2 person job, some times a small oily mark can appear on the birds feathers at the point of injection but this usually disappears in a few days.a small amount can seap out when you withdraw the needle this is what makes the oily mark.paul
