Glauber salts

In the pigeon pictorial of a fancier that states

glauber salts keeps  worms away, every year he had tests done and no

worms where found in a period

Of 15 years.

Any comments will be welcome

Don't know much about this Craig, seems to be a laxative / purgative?

 

My first thought is you can't purge away worms that you don't have in the first place, but as its a sulphur base, and garlic also has sulphur compounds which are known to shift worms, there's maybe something in it.

 

Other point is it is Ph 7, neutral, so you could be 'de-acidifying' the gut which may cause problems with unfriendly bacteria?
