Hyacinth in old Health forum you said there had been an outbreak of Avian Influenza in Frazier Valley, British Columbia, Canada.

I haven't heard anything on this outbreak. I also thought this problem had been contained (to SE Asia).

Any details please as to what group of birds was affected by the new outbreak of disease and how many?

Any details on how the virus got into Canada?

Why did Canadian government want to kill pigeons? And was it racing pigeons or ferals?

Any reaction to this outbreak in America?
