THE FIFER Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 have u ever saw the reathers when used for writing its the bit they write with , the quill, as explained well by wiley
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 o thats what it is thanks guys i had a pigeon like that a year ago,i pulled it out as he kept pecking it
Wiley Posted December 1, 2006 Report Posted December 1, 2006 yea mate you done the right thing by pulling the flight.I had a friend who cut down one of his pigeons and he done it like the do in some cage birds cut across the feathers this broke the blood quil and masses of blood kept pouring out of the quil as blood quils contain an artery and a vein with a circulating supply of blood running through the quill. But pulling the feather is the only option
