sick bird ?

i am new to this sport i have just bought several young birds one is not eating at all i removed it from the rest and are having to feed it ..it has tight feather and acts normal no abmormal discharge anywhere it dark around eyes but wiil not eat any ideas or treatment please

Think its what is sometimes called 'going back' - bird seems to sulk in new surroundings, eats and drinks very little. usually comes round by itself when hungry enough. Agree with Sammy, let it fend for itself.

i agree , leave the bird to eat itself , if it doesnt after a day or two , theres something wrong with it , if it goes" backwards" then dispose of it

Was it weaned too early?.Think I would be tempted to at least dip it's beak in the drinker as it is so hot today especially,if it takes alot of water in when u do that then it is not drinking on it's own either,just keep an eye on it and dunk it's beak twice a day for a couple of days,but then again I am very soft with them!
