coughing

i have pigeon which sounds like it is coughing its quite loud . anybody any ideas as to what it could be and what to cure with

could be many things ,,as little as a bit of grain stuck in the roof of the mouth or in the throat [lentils bad for this or linseed etc]    if its coughing and not sneezing [sneezing a sign of respiratory] at worst it could be canker or aspergilliosis or there could be more reasons , i would ask an experienced fancier or seek vets advice
